By the time you hit menopause, chances are, you had gone through some hard things. Or, you've lost the idea of what you thought your life would look like and now you're wondering, "is this it?"
Women don't have weight problems. They have self-esteem and self-neglect problems. You're a good person and yet, you get the short end of the stick. This is the cause of extra weight, not menopause.
The great news is that you get to decide what you are tolerating in life. This is the part most women want to skip. It isn't always easy to look at.
It's time to look at what you've been tolerating in your life that isn't working for you. This is what keeps you stuck in a relationship with food and your weight that you hate.
The easiest way to start taking action is to look at what you've been tolerating in your life and deal with some of those things.
Remember how capable you are. Don't let the voice in your head lie and tell you it's better to tolerate something than to deal with it, or that you should just "suck it up." There may even be things you fear, so you procrastinate.
For now, make a list of things you're tolerating (and I mean everything), that you know you'd like to change.
It could be things about yourself, your environment, or your relationships. It could be big things like a job, or little things, like a messy car. Pick two things and do something about it.
Start there.
